Dear Buhler Community,
We know that many individuals and families in our school community are feeling the strain of rising costs, reduced benefits, and the upcoming holiday season. During times like these, the strength of our Buhler community truly shines when we come together to care for one another.
Beginning next week, we invite families and community members who are able to do so to donate a “Meal in a Bag” to help provide food support for others in our community. Each meal includes simple ingredients that can be found via the “dinner in a bag” link located on this document: https://5il.co/3rtj9. You will also see additional food resources for those in need. See the picture for one example of these meals.
Donations may be dropped off at any Buhler school, the district office, or sent with your student beginning Tuesday, November 4th. At this time, we will accept meal in a bag donations through Thanksgiving break. Meal kits will be sent home with families who have requested food support via an internal and confidential survey.
Thank you for embodying what it means to be part of the Buhler family, a community that cares deeply for one another.
Cindy Couchman, Superintendent
